Life happens between the big grocery runs. That’s where a neighbourhood convenience store comes in.

Preet runs Northmount Convenience Store on Northmount Drive NW. Stop in on your way to work, on a break, or on the way home. A cold drink, something to snack on, or the milk and bread you meant to pick up.

There is an ice cream freezer and a coffee station, a wall of candy that runs from the usual chocolate bars to the ones you remember from childhood, and shelves of pantry and household basics for the trip you would rather not make.

The shelves go further than most corner stores. Cereal and canned soup, noodles, sauces and seasonings. Dish soap, cleaning supplies and personal care. Pet food, bagged ice, and the odd thing you only remember you need once you are standing in front of it. There is a lottery counter by the till, and a freezer full of ice cream and Mini Melts for the walk home.

There is parking right out front, so it is a quick in and out. Opening times are posted in the window and listed further down this page; on a holiday it is worth a call first.

We are open seven days a week, early until late. We handle Ria and Western Union money transfers in store, and you can drop off and send DHL parcels at the counter. Looking for something particular? Give us a call before you come by. It is quicker than a wasted trip, and we will tell you straight whether it is on the shelf.

Preet and Paul are just the best! I have been going to this store for over 20 years, 8 different owners, and while the last owner put a lot of work in to it, these two have carried on! From Comet to candles, milk to really big bottles of water, coffee to ice cream check it out!!

this store has a great selection of snacks and drinks. they also have a small section of household items E.G. dish soap, toilet brushes, sponges, etc, in addition, there is a section of personal care products like period pads and hand soap. if you're looking for a convenience store, this is the place to go.
